Kirby comes from a long line of Bay Area real estate professionals. As a third generation real estate professional and Bay Area native, he grew up listening to his grandfather and father negotiating real estate transactions for the sale and purchase of various real properties spanning San Jose to Ukiah. It is small wonder that he would later choose a career in real estate where he utilizes the valuable lessons he has learned from his elders.
In addition to being part of the NAI BT Commercial team where he specializes in multi-family housing and investments, Kirby is also the managing general partner for a real estate investment and management firm. Kirby manages multi-family properties in the Bay Area, the majority of which are located in the North Bay.
Prior to joining NAI BT Commercial, Kirby practiced real estate law with a well-respected law firm in San Francisco. While practicing law, Kirby honed in his skills in real estate, particularly in the area of litigation. During his time as an attorney, he represented a diverse real estate clientele including homeowners, homeowners' associations, agents and brokers, architects, real estate investors and other real estate attorneys. His practice afforded him the opportunity not only to understand problems involving both residential and commercial properties, but also to find and implement solutions as well.
Kirby brings to NAI BT Commercial the wisdom gleaned from generations of Bay Area real estate experience and the perspectives gathered from his representation of diverse clients in all walks of the real estate life.
In his spare time, Kirby plays on a soccer team in the San Francisco Soccer Football League. He is also an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49ers.
